Why most operators say no

Tree work needs licences most garden businesses don't have.

Chainsaw work has real risk — to property, people and the tree itself. Most gardeners skip it. We hold chainsaw tickets, run a properly insured crew, and treat tree work as the skilled job it is.

Chainsaw ticketed

Crew holds current chainsaw tickets. Certificates available with the quote.

Public Liability + Work Cover

Certificate of Currency provided on request. Important for strata committees and schools.

That looks AMAZING — thank you so much for all your hard work on this one, especially in the heat. You have made this a very happy start of the year for this BM.

Common questions

Tree work FAQs.

Why only 5 metres?

Beyond 5m the safety and equipment requirements change — climbing, rigging, ropes, often an elevated work platform. We refer those jobs to a trusted level-3 arborist rather than overstep our tickets.

Do we need council approval to prune or remove a tree?

Sometimes — depends on the council, the species and the size. We'll let you know during the onsite visit if approval is needed before we can start.

Will pruning hurt my tree?

If done badly, yes. If done by horticulturists who understand the species, timing and cut placement — no. We'll talk you through what we're doing and why.

What about storm damage between scheduled visits?

We respond to storm damage as quickly as our schedule allows — usually within 24–72 hours for existing clients. Quoted separately and prioritised over routine work.

Can you remove the stump too?

Stump grinding can be added — we sub-contract that to a specialist who works alongside us. One job, one invoice.
